Children’s Nest in Zambia needs more space for the children - therefore new building should be established!
The capacity of Children’s Nest in Choma is in the moment very limited.
The sickness HIV/Aids kills every day parents of children. Many children are waiting to go to an orphanage. In the town of Choma 500 orphans are waiting to join an orphanage. In the whole district there are not less than 3000 orphans. In the moment only around 30 children have the opportunity to stay in an orphanage and to be in a secured environment.
Children’s Nest is going to build an orphanage on a farm land. The building activities should start as soon as possible. In the first step we want to build a new home for 50 children. In theses new buildings children are staying together with staff in small units in similar environment like in families.
Children‘s Nest is fundraising to establish the new buildings. A bore hole and an electricity connecting is required. The required money is not less than 30,000 US Dollars.
