In Choma in the Southern Province of Zambia we have established an orphanage. 14 orphans have joint the orphanage by end of February 2006. Others can't get support because the space is already too small.

Nearly all the members of the board of Children‘s Nest are members of the Pilgrim Wesleyan church. We are official registered as NGO with the "Registrar of Societies" and we work together the Social Welfare Office.

The orphanage stays in the moment in a rented house. Because of the limited space Children‘s Nest is fundraising to establish a new orphanage outside of the town. The required land is already available.

The staff is taking 24 hours a day care of the orphans. The staff members are usually widows, widower or divorced persons to provide as well for such under privileged persons a secured life.
